What You'll Do

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing the field execution and administration of infrastructure projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is performed in accordance with contract documents, codes, and industry standards
  • Administering construction contracts and managing all phases from pre-construction through project completion
  • Coordinating with engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies to maintain timelines and resolve field issues
  • Conducting regular site visits and full-time on-site inspections for extended durations (as needed)
  • Processing submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and maintaining accurate field documentation
  • Reviewing and tracking project schedules, cost control documentation, and quality compliance
  • Acting as the primary field contact for contractors and clients, ensuring consistent communication and timely decision-making
  • Participating in pre-bid meetings, progress meetings, and construction closeouts

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction management of public infrastructure or utility projects
  • Experience with roadways, asphalt, concrete, waterlines, sewer systems, or water/wastewater treatment facilities
  • Knowledge of ODOT, PennDOT, or INDOT specifications and inspection standards is highly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead field teams and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Proficient in reading engineering plans and specifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management and construction software is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across the region=

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or Construction Engineering Technology
