We’re looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Web Analytics Specialist to join Mozaiq on a freelance basis. You’ll serve as our go-to analytics partner, helping drive insights and data-driven decisions across a wide range of global marketing initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, remote environment and knows how to turn raw data into meaningful stories. You’ll work with both the EU and US teams, so flexibility across time zones is key.
Configure and maintain tracking using tools like Google Tag Manager, Matomo, and FullStory
Set up custom event tracking, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy across platforms
Build and maintain dashboards in Looker Studio or similar BI tools
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for marketing and leadership teams
Analyze user behavior, funnel performance, and campaign results
Recommend improvements and optimizations based on real data
Collaborate with marketing and dev teams to evolve our analytics stack
Identify opportunities to automate or improve data pipelines
A/B testing tool experience (e.g., Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely)
Familiarity with SEO reporting metrics and dashboards
Experience with ETL tools like Funnel, Supermetrics, or Fivetran
Basic SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets
Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics 4, Matomo, FullStory
Strong command of Looker Studio or equivalent BI dashboards
Proficiency in Google Tag Manager and custom event tracking setups
Sharp analytical skills and the ability to turn data into business impact
Clear communication and the ability to collaborate across global teams

This is a fully remote role, with team members spread across multiple time zones. While we offer flexible working hours, we do ask for some availability between 18:00 and 20:30 CET to overlap with our US-based marketing team (6–9 hours behind CET).
