Associate, Data Scientist

Associate, Data Scientist – Anaqua, Inc. – 31 Saint James Avenue, Suite 1100, Boston, MA 02116

Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000

DUTIES:

• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Combine models through ensemble modeling
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field required.
• Two years of computer science experience and data science experience required, including experience in machine-learning and operations research, Spark, and Java/Kotlin.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience, employer will accept a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• May work remotely from any U.S. location.
