This role is designed for an experienced technical program manager to lead complex AI, ML, and data platform initiatives. You will oversee large-scale technology programs, translating business requirements into actionable plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, product, and compliance. The position emphasizes strategic alignment, risk mitigation, and operational excellence while delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. You will manage programs end-to-end, drive agile delivery, and ensure that technical platforms meet business and customer objectives. Accountabilities
- Lead the execution of enterprise-level AI, ML, and data platform programs from concept through delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Translate high-level business and technical requirements into detailed, actionable plans.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate program risks and issues, implementing contingency strategies.
- Facilitate agile delivery practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release coordination.
- Ensure technical solutions are scalable, compliant, and deliver measurable value to business stakeholders.
- Partner with data engineers and AI/ML teams to design and implement robust data pipelines, governance frameworks, and AI infrastructure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical program or project management experience, preferably in AI, ML, or data platform environments.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale distributed systems, cloud data platforms, or ML/AI infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of data lifecycle, including ingestion, processing, storage, governance, and ML model deployment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across executive and technical teams.
- Proficient in writing and managing detailed business system and technical requirements.
- Skilled in Jira, Confluence, and project management tools for agile delivery.
- Strong risk management, decision-making, and prioritization capabilities in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience in regulated industries, Databricks or cloud platform expertise, and project management or Agile certifications.
