This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer, UI Design in India.

This role offers the chance to shape the user experience across multiple digital channels, delivering seamless, omnichannel customer journeys. As a Senior Software Engineer in UI Design, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions integrating web, chat, SMS, email, and social media interactions with backend systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA, to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure applications. The position emphasizes writing maintainable code, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and contributing to the overall architecture of customer-facing solutions. You will work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, where your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires both technical expertise and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Accountabilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end and full-stack software applications with a focus on digital customer engagement.
  • Integrate multiple digital channels such as email, chat, SMS, and social media with backend and voice solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to align development with project objectives and milestones.
  • Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure software security, accessibility, and adherence to best practices.
  • Document software designs, implementation processes, and user-facing features.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends relevant to digital engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in web and UI development.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks, particularly React.
  • Experience with server-side technologies, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and backend frameworks such as Java.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Awareness of web security best practices and ability to implement protective measures.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating full-stack and UI development skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions on time.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Desirable: experience with contact center software, IVR, virtual agents, VoIP, accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x).
  • Availability to be on-call as needed.
