Shriners Children’s is seeking a Patient Access Insurance Coordinator to maintain patient insurance eligibility and coverage for assigned facilities. This role involves verifying patient eligibility, updating records, resolving bill holds, and managing insurance authorizations. The position will work under the guidance of the Corporate Patient Access Manager and contribute to the smooth operation of the Patient Financial Services department.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience with insurance verification, authorization, medical billing, and utilization
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Epic registration and scheduling experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
