JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

The Proposal Coordinator is responsible for the generation of proposals, statement of qualifications, and presentations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives all requests for Proposal Team services and develops proposal development plan. This includes distributing work among team members, establishing deadlines and holding team members accountable.
  • Interfaces with Business Development and Operations staff to assess business needs and create project plans.
  • Manages the development and maintenance of business development templates for use in proposals and related resources and ensures they are available to the business.
  • Works collaboratively with Corporate Communications and Marketing to develop and establish messaging along with the look and feel of products.
  • Leads the development of proposals and statements of qualifications. Oversees the gathering of all business development data and information.
  • Drafts, edits, and finalizes all proposals within In-Design.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education/Experience: BA/BS Degree in English, Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field and 3-5 years related experience. Technical: Advanced proficiency with In-Design and experience using the software for proposal layout and completion. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Previous project/proposal management experience. Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally. Contributes to a positive internal and external customer experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work environment is characteristic of an office environment: sitting, standing, walking, bending and lifting are required to perform job responsibilities. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 20 lbs.
