About the role

  • The Phone Operator position is one of the first ways we can provide Red Carpet treatment to all our clients. Phone operators are responsible for answering incoming calls or texts from our clients and ensuring they are directed to the appropriate team to answer their questions or address concerns. This role involves providing clear communication with clients, handling inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for all callers.

Available time range: Sat-Wed | 8:00-22:00 EST (USA) / Mon-Fri | 9:00-23:00 EST (USA)
Pay Rate (Reference): USD 5/hr

Independent Contractor—Fixed Term (3–6 months)

What you'll do

  • Answering all inbound calls /text messages promptly and courteously, determining the nature of the call and directing it to the appropriate department to team member
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and conduct when handling client information
  • Provide clients with Red Carpet customer service
  • Document calls with messages to the team members, ensuring that all information is communicated and handled promptly
  • Handle multiple calls and requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure timely responses
  • When applicable, create a task in case management system to be directed to other department(s) if they aren’t available at that given time to ensure resolution to client’s request

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish, English) – B2 +
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • World-class customer service skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and time manage themselves
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and direct them when appropriate

Reliable computer with at least:

8-16GB RAM

128 GB SSD

Core i5 6th Gen + / Ryzen 5 processor 5th Gen +(2.0GHz or higher) recent model (2018 +) is a plus
Webcam / Good microphone and headset.
Minimum 25mbps Upload and Download network speed
PLUS:
-Power Backup Solutions:
Preferable, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) or inverter system to provide immediate power backup during outages.
