Software Engineer, Machine Learning, Jigsaw

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Machine Learning team. This full-time, remote position focuses on building AI proof-of-concepts, addressing societal challenges, and contributing to scalable solutions. Engineers will prototype AI applications, experiment with LLMs, and work on-the-ground with research and marketing teams to drive innovation. Jigsaw is a unit within Google dedicated to security and democracy in the face of the increasing influence of generative AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining or launching software products
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
• Experience building prototypes or applications using Generative AI models
