We’re looking for driven and committed QCE Chemistry Tutors to join our passionate team as we expand our tutoring offer into Queensland for the very first time, opening our first campuses in Brisbane CBD and Sunnybank.

Starting in 2026, we’re taking the next big step in our journey - national growth, bringing Contour’s proven programs and student-first approach to Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia.

As a QCE Chemistry Tutor, you’ll lead engaging small-group classes (8–20 students), helping students master challenging content, build confidence, and reach their full potential, all while sharing your passion for science and education.

What You Will Do

• Teach - You’ll deliver clear, structured VCE Chemistry 1/2 and 3/4 lessons that build conceptual understanding and exam technique.
• Coach - Motivate students to engage with content, practice deliberately, and improve week-to-week.
• Mentor - Share study strategies and relatable stories to build student confidence.
• Connect - Build genuine connections so students feel supported and motivated

What You Will Bring

• High ATAR (99+) and strong subject-specific academic achievements (90+ results in Chemistry).
• First-year university level knowledge or above in your subject(s).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Energy, empathy, independence and a proactive mindset.
• A full academic year commitment with 10+ hours weekly availability.
• Alignment with Contour’s mission (Signed NDA and non-compete agreement required).
• A genuine passion for helping students succeed.

1. Submit your written application (CV and subject results).
2. Submit a short video (5–10 minutes) of you tutoring with a sample workbook we provide.
3. Attend an in-person interview, which includes Q&A and teaching a mock small-group class.

Interviews will be held the across the 6th of January 2026 in Brisbane. If successful, in-person training will run in Melbourne from Monday 2 February for one week. Flights and accommodation will be arranged.
