Repair Technician

STERIS is seeking a Repair Technician I to perform surgical instrument inspection, repair, and refurbishment in a lab environment and in field settings. The role involves hands-on repair, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance standards. Training is provided, and opportunities for career advancement exist. This is a remote, customer-facing position based in Frederick, MD.

Requirements

• Perform basic to intermediate inspection and repairs on surgical instrumentation.
• Work in the field on a mobile repair truck.
• Provide invoicing and documentation.
• Provide support various locations within assigned territory.
• Must meet flexible schedules and pass a DOT medical/physical exam.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push instrument carts.
• Must be able to work in a hospital/customer setting, based on customer and business needs.
