This role offers a fully remote opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to manage multi-state payroll operations and ensure compliance with tax regulations. You will play a critical role in supporting payroll processes, including day-to-day operations and major system transitions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in payroll software and reporting, along with the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve complex payroll issues. This position requires flexibility to work PST hours and the ability to navigate multi-state payroll intricacies. You will help drive accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in payroll operations, contributing to a seamless employee experience and smooth financial processes.

Accountabilities

  • Manage day-to-day payroll operations across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the final push of Oracle payroll implementation and assist with system transitions from legacy platforms.
  • Maintain and process payroll using systems such as Oracle Cloud Payroll and HR, Kronos Dimensions, ADP, Salesforce, and Excel.
  • Handle payroll garnishments, multi-state tax calculations, and payroll reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and optimize processes.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and other reporting requirements as needed.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of multi-state payroll and tax experience.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll and HR, Kronos Dimensions Timekeeping, ADP payroll tax systems, Salesforce, and Excel (intermediate to advanced).
  • Familiarity with payroll garnishments and payroll reporting.
  • Knowledge of JDE legacy system is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Must be flexible to work PST hours while located anywhere in the US.
