Hoot is hiring a dynamic Software Sales Account Manager, where you will work exclusively with Advertising Agencies and Media Companies to provide dynamic ad solutions for search, display and video. You will educate existing clients on new products and existing product enhancements with the objective of maintaining and increasing overall revenue and will be the primary contact for their assigned book of business – consistent outreach is required. In this role, you will also prospect for new business through cold-calling, LinkedIn, and other creative outreach methods.

In this role you will:

  • Exceed established individual revenue goals by selling products/services, identifying opportunities, and closing sales to increase sales revenue with existing customers.
  • Develop and manage relationships with client accounts, understanding clients' advertising priorities and strategies and ensuring that customers have comprehensive, ongoing support and service.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities.
  • Create presentations and proposals in preparation for meetings with clients.
  • As part of the sales process, effectively demonstrate our software via Zoom, as if presenting in person.
  • Responsible for logging sales opportunities and tasks in Salesforce daily.

Ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years experience with proven selling track record, preferably in software or digital advertising solutions
  • Ability to build strong relationships with focus on follow up and personal accountability
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines
  • Confidence in pitching and closing business
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Personally motivated with ability to set personal goals and achieving them
  • Creative thinker with ability to solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Comfortable giving presentations in front of large groups
  • CRM sales management software experience with a leading platform, salesforce.com preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
