This executive-level role combines technology leadership with procurement strategy to drive operational excellence across the organization. The IT & Procurement Director will be responsible for defining and executing a robust IT roadmap, overseeing infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity, while also leading procurement operations including sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, with a focus on cost optimization, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and negotiator, capable of guiding teams, building lasting vendor partnerships, and driving innovation through emerging technologies.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Lead procurement activities, including strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor evaluation, and policy development.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of IT systems, software, and infrastructure.
  • Manage IT and procurement budgets to optimize resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and sustain strong vendor and supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and reliable service.
  • Lead and mentor teams across IT and procurement functions, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate IT security and supply chain risks.
  • Drive continuous innovation by researching and adopting emerging technologies and market trends.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align technology and procurement solutions with organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven leadership in IT and procurement management.
  • Strong expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supply chain processes.
  • Deep knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Track record of successfully managing budgets and implementing cost-effective solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues with strategic, innovative solutions.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CIPS, CISSP, or related credentials preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
