Our Global Indirect Tax Team is a partner for Akamai's business, supporting its operations through tax compliance reporting and advisory. We influence more than 30 countries across the globe, identifying opportunities, mitigating risks and collaborating with external tax providers to constantly improve our business.

As a participant in our program, you will gain valuable experience and contribute through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for training, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our internships are open to students and graduates.

Start: February/March 1st

Duration: 6 months

Salary: 36 PLN gross/h

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to investigate tax jurisdictions in over 30 countries. You will contribute to both local and international requirements. Being a part of a highly trained global team you will work with elite external partners. Thanks to this cooperation you will become a trusted advisor to our leadership. You will manage many tax areas at Akamai as part of this role!

As a Tax Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the VAT and other taxes compliance process for various countries, including the US
• Creating Excel spreadsheets and work papers to support VAT and US sales/use tax returns for selected entities
• Creating Purchase orders concerning tax services and wire requests supporting tax payments
• Working with other finance teams to support financial operations in relation to tax requirements
• Performing special projects or duties as required within the tax department

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a student in Tax Advisory, Accounting, Finance, Business or Law
• Have fluency in English - written and verbal
• Possess great analytical skills
• Be able to create clear and concise documentation and workpapers
• Be able to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects

Work in a way that works for you

Our 6-month intern program requires you to be available 40 hours per week during summer months (July-September). We offer the opportunity to work part-time during the academic year (October-June).
