Are you ready to shape the future of reinsurance operations in a modern, tech-driven environment? At Ledgebrook, we’re building next-generation insurance infrastructure - fast, smart, and scalable.

Ledgebrook is a tech-driven InsurTech company on a mission to modernize the specialty insurance and reinsurance industry. We have rapidly grown our business and are now launching a new reinsurance division, making us an exciting entrant in the reinsurance space.

If you're excited about joining a growing international team, improving processes from the ground up, and having real impact - this opportunity is for you.

About the Role

We are looking for a Reinsurance Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and growing Operations Team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional operational support to our Reinsurance Brokers and internal teams, including Data, Finance, and Claims. This role supports the end-to-end operational workflow, from contract setup and data processing to settlement tracking and client service delivery. You'll gain deep exposure to a variety of reinsurance contracts and have the opportunity to streamline processes that enhance both operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

This is an exciting chance to blend your reinsurance expertise with a strong customer focus, contributing meaningfully to our service excellence.

Ledgebrook is expanding rapidly, including a recent entry into the Polish market, and you’ll be an integral part of our long-term growth. We operate in a fully remote environment with a culture that values openness, collaboration, and transparency - giving you access to leadership and cross-functional teams from day one.

As we scale, this role offers fantastic opportunities for personal development, career progression, and involvement across a wide range of reinsurance contracts and projects.

Role requirements:

  • Analyze and interpret reinsurance contract terms to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Enter, update, and validate contract information in the company’s system, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Maintain comprehensive contract records and status updates throughout the contract lifecycle, adhering to established best practices and internal guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent data labeling, while maintaining a clear audit trail for all risk data entered into systems.
  • Check claim coverage, treaty/risk limits and process/book relevant data in cooperation with Technical Accounting and Claims Team assuring accuracy and integrity of the technical bookings.
  • Verify and process claim settlement requests and general claim related administrative requests from cedents.
  • Identify and investigate data discrepancies or account issues, collaborating with internal teams and business partners to resolve them effectively.
  • Conduct regular data reviews and updates based on quality control reports and internal standards.
  • Manage, extract, review, and cleanse data from multiple sources and repositories to support business accuracy and decision-making.
  • Provide general risk administration support to Ledgebrook Reinsurance Brokers and business partners, including ad hoc data analysis and report generation.
  • Deliver prompt, confident responses to internal inquiries, backed by accurate and reliable information.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of internal processes, placement documentation, and technical delivery standards.
  • Improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and implement operational or regulatory changes in all processes.
