Essential Job Functions:

  • Support, manage and simplify HR processes (onboarding, off-boarding, employee life-cycle processes etc.) with the assistance of regional operations admin staff.
  • Work with the internal recruiting and training teams to assist with new hire and current employee training initiatives.
  • Be a point of contact for general HR queries from managers and employees in the APAC region, including assisting with the administration of regional benefits.
  • Preparation of HR documentation (employment letters, contracts etc.).
  • Assist with HR projects associated with regional business expansion.
  • Work daily in the HRIS WorkDay and maintain accurate record of employees’ data in WorkDay.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc HR reports, as needed.
  • Assist in monitoring changing workplace legislation via various information sources across each Asia Pacific jurisdiction.
  • Maintain and update regional HR policies as appropriate.
  • Support industry benchmarking initiatives regarding current and prospective policies.
  • Answer queries from managers and employees regarding company policy interpretation.
  • Collaborate with external broker, administer benefits for APAC employees and answer questions.
  • Initiate and support the new hire process, including reviewing required documentation.
  • Work closely with the wider People & Culture team based in the US and EU to provide support where required to ensure a seamless HR service (including close collaboration with Finance, Legal, Operations, Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams).
  • Any other ad-hoc activities and HR projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity
  • Strong experience of working with multiple international stakeholders with ability to influence at all levels and across multiple business units
  • Experience in the staffing industry with a proven understanding of operations preferred
  • Experience working for a global company with operations in the US or EU.
  • Experience leading and handling successful high visibility projects within an organization
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Adept at balancing critical thinking, while able to execute hands-on with clients
  • Self-starter with demonstrable ability to set goals and meet or exceed deadlines
  • Requires extensive labor relations and coaching experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is required
  • Demonstrable experience exercising good judgment and decision-making
  • Requires a resourceful individual, adept at creating innovative solutions in an unstructured environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
