The Lead Process Engineer will manage and execute support for DFM (PCA), DFA (mechanical), and DFF (PCB) engineers globally.
The Lead Process Engineer will manage and execute support for DFM (PCA), DFA (mechanical), and DFF (PCB) engineers globally. Responsibilities include training, qualification evaluation, technical support, process updates, and driving continuous improvement. The role requires strong project management, technical skills in PCB design, and collaboration with technology development teams.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in an electronics/engineering discipline
- 10 years+ experience within a manufacturing engineering operational role and /or process application engineering development role
- Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) assembly processes
- Proficiency in analytical techniques (Valor, Boothroyd & Dewhurst, BDI)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and material science
- Proficiency in programming and software
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and design of experiments
