Database Customer Engineer, Google Cloud

The Google Cloud Platform team is seeking a Database Customer Engineer to help customers transform their businesses using cloud technology. This role involves being a subject matter expert on Google's database portfolio, developing solution initiatives, engaging with customers to design and optimize their data management environment, and providing feedback to product and engineering teams. Google Cloud is a trusted partner for organizations globally, enabling growth and solving critical business problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in the enterprise software or cloud space.
• Experience with one or more database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and graph databases.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database technologies with positioning the right database for a customer’s application use case.
