We are looking for a Senior Product Owner with experience in software development outsourcing for US and international clients.
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner with experience in software development outsourcing for US and international clients. In this role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for multiple client-facing projects. You will bridge the gap between client objectives and development teams, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and quality outcomes.
The ideal candidate will excel at uncovering user needs, defining a clear product vision, and ensuring that all features deliver tangible business value. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams - both technical and non-technical - to prioritize and shape the product backlog.
You’ll be responsible for staying focused on core objectives, generating innovative ideas, and driving business outcomes without getting lost in distractions. Additionally, you should be willing to travel to and within the United States and Europe on short notice for customer workshops and design sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Champion the Customer’s Voice: Ensure that customers’ problems and goals are well articulated and that the solutions delivered by the product actually solve the problems that the customers face.
Drive Product Vision & Roadmap: Create a product vision that meets the needs of the customer and iterate on it with stakeholders to ensure that it is aligned with measurable business value.
Manage the Product Backlog: Write and prioritize user stories so that they are clear and valuable and support both short and long-term objectives.
Innovate for Business Outcomes: Identify ways to address customer problems and create value that will lead to return on investment (ROI) based on data and user insights.
Collaborate in an Agile Environment: Attend daily Agile ceremonies, work with developers and QA to define acceptance criteria of the user stories, and ensure that the user stories are well understood.
Validate & Demonstrate Value: Review test cases, perform acceptance testing, and conduct product demos to gather feedback and iterate on product features.
Facilitate Effective Communication: Act as the liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of priorities, timeframes, and deliverables.
Maintain Focus: Prevent scope creep and use data-driven metrics to ensure steady progress toward goals.
Conduct US and International Travel: Be prepared to travel to and within the United States and Europe for customer interactions and to moderate workshops and design sessions.

Location Preferences and Time Zone Alignment
The ideal candidate will be located in the United States or one of Aquiva Labs’ international development hubs in Europe (Spain, Poland, Serbia, Montenegro) or Latin America. You should be willing and able to travel to our customers’ locations in Europe and the United States on short notice for meetings and workshops. You should be flexible working during clients’ hours (US or Europe) as needed.
Nice to Have

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or related field.
