Senior Systems Engineer, IT

Atlan is changing the way teams work with data. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll lead migration from JumpCloud to Okta, design and implement modern identity principles, establish SaaS management practices, and drive automation and process improvements.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years in IT Systems Engineering with experience across technologies like IAM, SaaS, collaboration, and AIOps
• Deep, hands-on expertise with Okta (Universal Directory, SSO, SCIM, Workflows, etc)
• Conceptual and practical understanding of Zero Trust, Least Privilege, and JIT provisioning methodologies
• Demonstrable experience with SaaS Management platforms (e.g., Trelica, BetterCloud, Torii) and license optimization strategies
• Ability to design and implement automated employee lifecycle (JML) workflows
• Practical experience implementing modern AIOps solutions (e.g., Moveworks, Aisera, Serval, Workato Genie, etc)
• Experience managing collaboration and SaaS tools like Atlassian, Linear, Google Workspace, Slack, etc
• Strong project leadership: runbooks, testing/rollback plans, stakeholder comms, phased rollouts
• Security-first mindset with excellent documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills
