The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an Inventory Accounting Policy and Procedures Accountant to join our team. In this role you will:

  • Stay up to date on Inventory policy updates
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in Corp Accounting, Manufacturing Finance and Supply Chain as needed
  • Ensure policy provides clear guidance on cost pegging and program/customer-owned inventory

Responsibilities:

Internal Control revisions

  • Support the Director of SOX Compliance and Internal Controls
  • Update the Inventory Narrative
  • Follow-up on any inventory-related control deficiencies and remediation action items, coordinating with SOX Compliance, Internal Audit and appropriate stakeholders
  • Evaluate the design of the controls and review procedures to address key risks for inventory

Document review procedures and workflow to ensure consistency and effective training and communication of requirements and expectations.Some examples of future topics include:

  • Inventory Reserves and LCNRV evaluation
  • Inventory Valuation – system vs manual process review and updates
  • Muac update process for unit cost
  • Subcontracting PO unit cost review and update
  • System set-up/config evaluation and documentation for annual internal review prior to audit requests and follow-up

Infor LN PMO

  • Participate in weekly meetings to represent the interests of Corp Accounting
  • Notify stakeholders of any system updates or issues communicated that could impact policy compliance, reporting, internal controls, or external audit testing requirements
  • Support any testing or change requirements relevant to Accounting/Finance

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Big 4 Accounting experience
  • Inventory and ERP systems experience
  • SOX Controls/Public Company Experience
  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.

Desired:

  • Costpoint/INFOR experience

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$61,600-$129,300
